C-130 is Best Golf Cart Bag
Sun Mountain’s C-130 golf bag remains the company’s best-selling golf cart bag as it enters its seventh year in production. Every year the designers at Sun Mountain have made improvements and modifications but the foundation of the bag has remained constant: individual club-divided, reverse-oriented top; enough pocket space to live up to its cargo-plane referencing name; all pockets accessible even when the bag is on a cart; and light enough that it can be easily carried from car to cart.
One of the hallmarks of the C-130 is pocket space. C-130 features nine pockets: two full-length clothing pockets, three velour-lined valuables pockets (including one sized for a rangefinder) and several additional accessory pockets.
C-130 is designed to work optimally on riding golf carts. Every feature of the C-130 is designed with cart use in mind beginning with every pocket and zipper being accessible when the bag is on a cart, and extending to the bag’s reverse-oriented top. This reverse-oriented top positions the short irons in front and the driver and ‘woods’ in back so one need not reach over the driver to get to a wedge.
Other cart-friendly features on the C-130 include three utility handles integrated into the top which offer multiple hand-holds for picking the bag up out of the trunk of a car and putting on the golf cart, as well as a cart-strap tunnel which allows the cart strap to pass through the bag and not block access to any of the bag’s pockets or crush any of the pockets’ contents. C-130 sports a 10.5” diameter, individual club-divided top plus an integrated putter well.
Sun Mountain is also proud to acknowledge that 2012 marks the fifth consecutive year that the C-130 has been an award winner on Golf Digest magazine’s Hot List.
