Caddies’ outerwear will include: full zip long sleeve rain jacket, short sleeve rain pullover, rain pants, long sleeve wind pullover, long sleeve thermal pullover, and bucket hat. Players’ significant others will have options to include: full-zip rain jacket, rain pants, thermal vest and bucket hat.
Sun Mountain Founder Rick Reimers commented, “We spent a lot of time before the 2011 Presidents Cup evaluating solutions to the weather protection needs of tournament golfers. Our solution was what became our StormTight collection of rain gear. The 2011 event saw significant rain and everyone was happy with the protection StormTight offered while still meeting the players’ needs for a flexible, stretchable garment. We are honored to be chosen to outfit The Presidents Cup U.S. Team and look forward to once again putting our rain, wind and thermal gear to the test.”
This year Sun Mountain will also be featured in the on-site Presidents Cup merchandise tent selling U.S. team-logoed outerwear.
