Micro-Cart from Sun Mountain is a four wheel golf push cart that folds 25% smaller and weighs 20% less than leading push carts. Weighing only 13 lbs. and folding down to only 52 cubic inches, Micro is a very appropriate name.
The small folded footprint and light weight of Micro-Cart make it easy to get in and out of a vehicle. Micro-Cart comes with no assembly required and folds and unfolds in two easy motions. The new and improved Micro-Cart comes standard with the E-Z Latch for hassle-free handle height adjustment.
The four wheels come standard with low maintenance solid foam tires and adjustable front axle to accommodate the largest of golf bags. And, due to the patented four-wheel design, the cart has a low center of gravity which results in superior stability on the course.
Micro-Cart comes with a Micro-Paq for additional storage; and a console with padded valuables tray, ball and tee holders, magnetic scorecard holder, and a drink holder.

Further, golf push carts are much better at rolling straight down the fairway than pull carts that are often zigzagging and putting additional strain on the golfer’s shoulders. [Read more...]
The August issue of Golf Digest magazine includes the Golf Push Cart Hot List.
The story says that the editors’ tested a dozen pushcarts and found seven that stand out. Two of those seven standouts are the Sun Mountain Speed Cart SV1 three-wheeled golf push cart and the four-wheeled Sun Mountain Micro-Cart.
About the Speed Cart SV1 the Golf Digest Equipment Editors said, “We love the roll of the big wheels and the brackets that secure your bag without straps.”
Regarding the four-wheel Micro-Cart the story reads, “This four-wheel pushcart is stable and surprisingly light, and it quickly folds into a compact size.” To put some numbers to these words – Micro-Cart was the lightest golf push cart tested, weighing in at 13.8 lbs. and the cart folds to the miniscule 52 cubic inches.
