Reviews

They look Spiffy (but eill they last?)

"Wheels arrived in good shape and I got them installed fairly easily. They look nice. This is a replacement set for a replacement set purchased in 2020/2021. Hoping these hold up longer than the earlier versions. Too early to rate higher than 3 stars."

— Tim C. (3/5)

some small differences . . .

"No problems with quality or performance, but the online installation documentation hasn't been updated in some time, and continuing small changes in parts and engineering have led to uncertainties that needed to be resolved through trial and error. An annoyance and inconvence to be sure, but I'm gonna keep using this thing and replacing stuff that breaks or wears out."

Wheel kits

"I have two sun mountain speed and use them a lot. Wheels were bad on one, and sloppy on the other one. Ended up replacing the wheels both of them. Which went well and didn’t take long. Shipment was fast. Thank you for the great service."

Amazing Replacement Kit, Saved the day!

"Amazing item from Sun Mountain, easy replacement and makes the cart like new again. Appreciate you guys!"

Your instructions are weak and there is no How To Video for Rear Tires

"I found an abandoned Speed Cart with a broken right rear wheel. Ordered 3 wheels and they came promptly. Inside there was a little sheet of paper pointing me to a URL How To video that does not exist on your website. You could just have easily put an 8 x 11 page in there with the simple steps to assemble. So its sitting outside, unfinished due to frustration."

— Stephen B. (1/5)

"Easy to install, I see they changed the engineering of the front wheel. Old one was poor design. the plastic housing around the axel cracked and fell apart, on a cart I just purchased last year. I did have to purchased all three wheels even though I only needed to replace one. But now I already have replacements for the other wheels when they need replacement."

The wheels are on there

"The wheels are on there to be returned . The wheel with the brake wheel the holes for the screws are not taped enough I left it on so you could see . In the replacement video the brake part you showed is already on no instructions inside just the video instructions"

Installation Problems

"I broke a wheel on my cart so I ordered this replacement kit which has 3 wheels and parts. I went to replace the front wheel but it was impossible to get the screw out of the old wheel hub because the screw stripped. So I left it alone. Then I tackled the wheel with the brake gear. The four screws that hold the gear in place wouldn't tighten the last 1/16 inch and they all stripped. So I left the old one on. The last wheel and the one that was broken went on fine (although the retaining clip is hard to get in right). I'm just lucky I'm back in business but I think this kit was kind of a failure."

Great company

"I had a broken wheel on an older Speed Cart. I called Sun Mountain with questions and the rep was very helpful. The shipping was fast. Since they don't make the older style wheel anymore I replaced all three so they would match. Works great."
