THIRD REPLACEMENT

"The replacement rods fit fine. Infact, the last three rod replacement orders all fit fine. I do not appreciate that the rods are left/right side specific and that they must be ordered in pairs. I have 3 right side rods that I didn't need since only the left side needed to be replaced three times over the years."

NEW RODS

"I expected changing the rods to balance the cart better. Sometimes I will get into a cart with a buddy, I will ride up a hill in the cart pulling my pushcart behind me. It used to be a smooth ride with my cart rolling smoothly along. That hasn't been the case for awhile. the cart wobbles as if out of balance. The new rods really did not change the situation. It did do the trick a few years ago when I went through the same problem."

Perfect Fit

"The rod replacement kit was very easy to install, and they fit perfectly. The ones I replaced were bent out of shape and my Sun Mountain cart cooler did not secure well at all. With these new rods, my cooler once again stays in place, and the cart folds up much better!"

ROD REPLACEMENT

"The rods I ordered for my early generation Speed Cart work fine now, after I modified my cart to accept them. When the new rods arrived I noticed they were just a bit thicker than the original rods. That in itself is not a bad idea, thicker rods should be stronger & last longer. The problem I had was that when I tried to install the rods in the frame (low on frame, near rear wheels), because the rods were thicker they would not go through the frame. I thought about sending them back but ended up drilling the hole in the frame just a bit larger so the frame would accept the rods. After I drilled everything works fine now."

"I could not use it because the rods were slightly bigger in diameter than my old rods and would not fit in the holes on my cart. Too expensive to mail them back, so the purchase was wasted money."

"The rods are thicker than the original and look like they’ll hold up better. The directions should have had you make the holes for the rods larger. The threads on one rod became damaged and wouldn’t work trying to fit it through the existing hole."
