This low-maintenance, solid foam wheel kit has three wheels, axles and brake disc needed to convert or replace your tires and brakes. These wheels are designed for use with Speed Carts from 2010-present.

Important notes: 

  • If you are looking to upgrade a pre-V1 model, you will also need to purchase the fork kit. 
  • This kit can not be used on carts with caliper style brake systems.
  • This kit does NOT include the full Disc Style Brake Kit.

*These wheels are NOT compatible with ECarts, V2 Speed Carts, Micro Carts, Pathfinder Carts, or PX Carts.

"I broke a wheel on my cart so I ordered this replacement kit which has 3 wheels and parts. I went to replace the front wheel but it was impossible to get the screw out of the old wheel hub because the screw stripped. So I left it alone. Then I tackled the wheel with the brake gear. The four screws that hold the gear in place wouldn't tighten the last 1/16 inch and they all stripped. So I left the old one on. The last wheel and the one that was broken went on fine (although the retaining clip is hard to get in right). I'm just lucky I'm back in business but I think this kit was kind of a failure."

"Great brand name and a great cart. All required parts received and installed. Major issue is having to obtain parts from the USA. This doubles the cost. Sun Mountain needs a Canadian supplier/distributor. This would factor significantly into any further product purchase."

Wore the Wheels Out

"I have a 12 year old Speed Cart V1. After ~50 rounds of golf for each of the 12 years, the spokes broke on one of the wheels and the other wheel spokes were showing signs of cracks. I ordered the replacement wheel kit and swapped out the old wheels in about 15 minutes. Very easy project and my Speed Cart V1 is on to its next 12 years. I have played 3 rounds with the new wheels. No issues. There will come a time when another original component on the Speed Cart V1 will fail. When that happens, Sun Mountain will have that component available, likely along with a helpful tutorial on the replacement process. At that time, I will order and install the component."

Significant design flaw

"How the front wheel tightens with a small screw on one side and a 3/4 lug on the other is design flaw. The small screw stripped on disassembly, had to get a screw extractor kit, that bit broke, had cut the rubber boot off, get the screw out with pliers. And reassemble. . . tightening the screw against the torque of the bolt, or the bolt against the screw. . . that screw is nearly stripped out again. Seems like there should be lug nuts on both sides."
