Superlight 3.5, lightweight golf bag

Lisa Ferrero won the Teva Championship with a 6-under 207 total

Congratulations to Lisa Ferrero on carrying a Superlight 3.5 bag to victory at the Teva Championship presented by Time Warner Cable. This is Ferrero’s second win of the season and lands her at the top of the LPGA Futures Tour money list.

Ferrero took the lead in round one and never looked back as she went on to win the $135,000 Teva Championship with rounds of 66-70-71 for a 6-under 207 total.

Ferrero’s is not the only fan of the Superlight 3.5, Golf Digest awarded the lightweight golf bag a Hot List Gold earlier this year with judges saying that the Superlight 3.5 is ‘the latest chapter from a company with a history of smart carry bags focused on details’. The Hot List panel further recognized the new-for-2011 cart friendly features including a cart strap tunnel that ‘prevents the bag from twisting, while allowing access to all seven pockets’.

The LPGA Futures Tour is the “Road to the LPGA” for young women golfers aspiring to professional greatness. As the official developmental tour of the LPGA, the Futures Tour affords them a preview of competition at the highest level and awards LPGA Tour cards to its top ten money earners each year.
