More Tours Allowing Golf Push Carts

Every year it seems more tours are allowing the use of golf push carts in competition. The newest entry for the 2012 season is the LPGA’s developmental tour, the Symetra Tour. For economic reasons, players on the “Road to the LPGA” typically do not use professional caddies opting instead to carry their own clubs. The ability to use a golf push cart now offers each player another option.

Other tours that have begun to allow the use of golf push carts and golf pull carts include the IJGT (International Junior Golf Tour), the AJGA (American Junior Golf Association), NCAA Women’s Golf, and High School girls’ golf.
