Hope for Warriors
We all know that Martin Kaymer was the banner-to-banner leader and winner of the 2014 U.S. Open with an impressive show of skill and calm under pressure. This 114th running of the US Open also had special meaning for eight Marines who possess these same qualities.
On Friday June 12th, these eight Marines made the ride from the Warrior Hope and Care Center at Camp Lejeune, NC to Hope Valley Country Club in Durham, NC for the ultimate golf weekend. After thanking the Marines for their service this special golf weekend included a golf clinic, a new Sun Mountain golf bag custom embroidered with the Hope for Warriors logo and filled with golf accessories courtesy of GlobalGolf.com, a round of golf, AND passes to the third round of the U.S. Open.
